A: No, you can choose to only put one.
"you may put another copy on the field" you can choose not to.
Q2444: When calling a card on top of a card placed face-down with "Replication" with a [Call Cost], is that soul face-down?
A: No, it will be face-up.
If you put a card that was put face-down into the soul, put it face-up unless there is a specific designation.
